Requested by Alv, I asked a friend the other day what the title even means, and all she said was “it’s chuuni,” which inspired me to give up thinking deeply about what kind of message is supposed to be in this song.
Notes: I’m really terrible at putting lines with an を and no verb into English, because there’s no equivalent way to express that at all. I’m talking about 「存在証明を」 of course. For a quick, basic Japanese lesson, the particle を is usually used to mark the target of action verbs. For example, if you were to put “Eat the apple” into Japanese sentence structure, it’d look like “Apple を eat”. Without a verb in a sentence like that, you’re just left with “(Non-existing verb) the thing.”
