The touhou wiki has the song title as “Let the Sounds of Those Shoes Resound, with Your Hands”  in English, but personally, I think that’d be more fitting if it said 「その手で」 in the title instead, so here we are with this one. Lets see, this song would seem to be about Meiling all alone back in China, waiting to be taken in by someone (Who, as we know, would come to be Remilia). It’s neat to see how it changes from “for someone” to “for you” throughout the song.

One of the stranger words from this song would have to be 生まれ溢れて. Actually, its whole stanza there feels pretty ugly in English as I have it, but there’s not much you can do there I don’t think.

Phew, I’ve been thinking about trying my hand out on one of RD’s songs for a while, and here we are. It really is a peaceful song though, and hardly sounds like Merami on vocals (I swear she almost sounds just like Chata in this). Anyways, maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this turned out pretty smoothly. If you look at the booklet page, this song could very well be interpreted as a song about Patchouli and Alice.

Been enjoying this album a bunch lately, it’s really good, and so here we are, the first song, greeted with the first time I’ve had to write so many notes.

Notes: There’s one issue I came across, which is “SoFar”. The lines which contain that could either mean that __ is unlocked so far, or “so far” itself is unlocked, as in “everything up to this point”. I figured that made more sense, so here we go.

While 目指す means “to aim at” or “to head towards” or “to have an eye on,” nothing’s exactly specified as the target here, so I simply put this as “had goals”.

One more note, I made the assumption that 雫 or “drop” meant “teardrop” here.

Notes: I had originally thought that what the speaker was chasing was the other person in this song, and trying to reach that person, but at other points in this , she says “forever together with you ” and such, so I changed my interpretation and thought of it as their goal that they’re chasing instead.
