Ahh, I’ve been looking forward to this song since I first heard it the preview, I’m in love with it. Haruka’s lyrics are depressing, but I love them anyways.

Totally not a request. Haruka’s lyrics are real easy it seems. I appreciate clear lyrics like that. Good song too, I enjoyed Dominated Dancehall greatly, I just wish the final track, FIX, was a bit longer, it ends so suddenly, they could have done a lot with it I feel. Translating that makes me really anticipate Cloud 9 even more. If the lyrics are going to be as clear and easy as this, it’ll be boatloads of fun!

Reinterpreted, it somewhat looks like this song is more talking from the perspective of a friend of Mokou’s who’s on the brink of death instead of from Mokou’s perspective (This could be evidenced by lines such as “Rest your wings” or “becoming the only one the ‘flames’ can rely on”. “The moon waning until it hides every one of your tears”, that also sounds very much like it would be Mokou that’s crying, since we all know how long it takes a lunar cycle to go through its course. Of course, that’s not all my evidence to support this, but I’m already going into far too much detail about this as it is). This song was a real pain to word into English though, I usually try to fit the syllable count to somewhat match, but.. this one.. I couldn’t do so well about that.

Notes: In the lines 「残されてく　想いまでどうすればいいの」 and the 「行けばいいの」 one, those can be more accurately translated “What am I supposed to do until these feelings are left behind” and “How am I supposed to go towards a binding future,” but well, with the preceding lines, it would read really, really unnatural I think. I figure the translation I have in place now retains most of the meaning, that she doesn’t know what to do, while flowing more naturally.
