Requested by Amilka, one of my favourites of the album. I’m no professional when it comes to classical Japanese, by any means, but I’ve done my best. I even feel like there’s something more deep about the title than is really letting on (袂 has quite a few definitions, and is kinda like 手元 too), but as I said, this is all I’ve got. God bless archaic dictionaries and yahoo answers JP, without which this would not be here.

Yet, at the end of wandering and just making it,
let us witness the infinite dreams

惨めかな　何にもなれもせず
最期には　囚われ星の海に消ゆ

Is it harrowing? Being caught and disappearing into the sea of stars
in the end, without becoming anything at all

Requested by Alv, this song does not exist on the internet. Vgmdb / youtube / niconico have proven to be essentially useless to me more than I’d like to admit. Due to this, I’m sorry if any of the romaji is inaccurate.

Requested by Niniva Chan, this song sure has a lot of sexual undertones. You might also notice it’s a Syrufit arrange rather than Alst. The lyrics sound like a standard Alst song for the most part, but I could really feel the difference in lyrical style between Mei Ayakura and Haruka.
In other news, this new less conservative way of translation I’ve started going with has been going great.

Requested by Flaemes, I’m starting to get a lot of requests piled up now. Cue sirens blaring in the background, I’ve gone against the original order I was supposed to do them in. Being very overdue on working on requests, I figured I’d start off here with what looks like the shortest one. I can’t recall if Kafka said he’d do 昊飛ぶ郵便屋さん, but if so, that might be an extra one off the list, and a very tough looking one, at that.

Notes: 「そんな夢に　ah…」 is effectively untranslatable, given the grammatical structure of English. There is no verb. I put it as “I’ll see your dream and ah…,” but there is no “see,” I only wrote that there to allow me to put “and” in as well, so I could add in the vagueness of the original line. To give a more literal translation, it’d be “I’ll ___ your dream.”
