This has to be the most grammatically clear Touhou song I’ve ever read. It’s also the only song I’ve ever heard to use polite form in the lyrics if I recall. It’s a really rare thing to see.

“The world I see, isn’t a dream world” seems to have real significance in this song, that’s for sure. Look at how the speaker focuses on the importance of her dreaming, but then think, if the world you’re in isn’t a world of dreams, what good will dreaming do?

This song stood out the most in this album, that background melody going on really just hooked me. A song about self-dependance.

Request by Primity. Looks like I couldn’t sleep until I did at least a little bit more editing to this.  Today was supposed to be a day to catch up on my to-do list, but I ended up doing nothing on it. ＿|￣|○

Notes: During the line “もうそれしか聞こえないとナイテタ,” due to “naiteta” being in katakana, it’s a vague meaning. It could mean “cried” or “sang.” It could be interpreted either as the person being driven mad by the song crying that they can’t hear anything but it anymore, or the meaning I currently have in place. I chose this because the rest of the stanza also comes from the perspective of the singer.
