I’m going to take this time to give some special thanks to Mai for giving me the scans of the Blooming Daydream booklet! I’ll be translating more from this album soon, probably after I’m done with Mother Nature and ZEphyr from Zytokine.

This has to be the most grammatically clear Touhou song I’ve ever read. It’s also the only song I’ve ever heard to use polite form in the lyrics if I recall. It’s a really rare thing to see.

“The world I see, isn’t a dream world” seems to have real significance in this song, that’s for sure. Look at how the speaker focuses on the importance of her dreaming, but then think, if the world you’re in isn’t a world of dreams, what good will dreaming do?

This song stood out the most in this album, that background melody going on really just hooked me. A song about self-dependance.
