It’s important to note that this is an arrange of the Ten Desires stage 3 theme, Yoshika’s stage, so you should really read this from her perspective.

This is definitely the hardest song from this album though, I can already tell. I’ll admit right now, my weakest point in Japanese grammar would probably have to be the te verb + は thing, and they’ve really filled this song full of that kind of thing.

I came to like this song a lot more after translating it, it feels very relatable in a way. Whether it be sleeping whenever I’m tired (even if it’s during the middle of the day), or being sick of meeting people again and again.

I had thought this was an arrangement of Kaguya’s theme at first, I don’t know how I mixed them up. This song looks like it’s talking about Mokou’s regrets of becoming immortal, how she’d like to change. Things that she’s lost that are precious memories? The people she’s outlived. Things she has gained that are lonely memories? Her immortality of course. Her permanent sin? Deciding to take the immortality elixir.
