My Zytokine inclinations have led me to translate this.
This seems like the kind of song that could have quite a few different interpretations. As I’ve said before, I’m not all too familiar with the DDC cast, but if I recall, Raiko is the one who was a tsukumogami right? So I imagined this song being about her birth and such. It sounds almost as if she’s trying to validate her existence, and it also sounds like she wants to unite the world, with the whole “be together bEAT GATHER” thing.

Notes: Lots of wordplay going on in this song.

I came to like this song a lot more after translating it, it feels very relatable in a way. Whether it be sleeping whenever I’m tired (even if it’s during the middle of the day), or being sick of meeting people again and again.

I can almost feel some inspirations for this song being taken from Marisa herself, not just her theme. I may be overthinking this, but it seems more her style to let her moves do the talking. Note, I’ve been slightly influenced by Kafka’s translation as I did this one myself. I may be underthinking this, but the lyrics here seem somewhat like just your run-of-the-mill love song to me.
