I’m not sure what to say for this one. Standard cool Sound Holic with pretty cool lyrics. You don’t normally hear Nana Takahashi sing like this though.

Decided to avoid first person this time because of all the imperative phrases everywhere, and it works. Although all the Dolls in Pseudo Paradise songs are great, Dichromatic Butterfly is one of my favourites, and this arrangement really lives up to it. MasKaleido is easily my favourite Sound Holic member at this point, though Linjin’s “PAIN DIED AGAIN” and 709 sec.’s “PERFECT BELIEVER” from this album are also growing on me.

Notes: Although 「いつの日も」 translates more accurately to “No matter which day,” I went with “everyday” to save space.

Lyrics stolen from a youtube comment. I originally stumbled into this after wishing the Lotus Land Story extra songs had a better arrangement in 幻 -MABORO-. This quickly grew on me, and the lyrics are pretty cool too. This is probably my favourite extra stage in all of Touhou.

Notes: 「歪むMadly執念」、 「渦巻く感情Crazy残虐で」、「常にRusty怨念」、「最凶の極みBadly荒ぶって」、and 「此処はSadly領域」 were all really hard lines to interpret, so I just translated them literally and hoped for the best (except that last quote, which I went super liberal on. I’m pretty sure it’s actually supposed mean “This is a sad territory”).

A bit more tricky than Perfect Aim and Firestorm Outbreak, but still fun. If there’s one word to describe Nana Takahashi’s lyrics, it’s fun. You might notice I took a few more translation liberties than normal this time though. Also, I noticed 8STYLE left the circle, which sucks. I was a fan of his style.
