This song stood out the most in this album, that background melody going on really just hooked me. A song about self-dependance.

Moving on down and down through the Zytokine albums, next up is ZEphyr. I was especially in the mood for some itori, and so here we are. I kind of imagine a ghostly kind of image when I picture an imaginary girl. Of another world, yet faintly “flickering” into ours. Of course, it could all be a metaphor too, about a girl that just seems imaginary. I’m a little too tired to go deep into an analysis of the lyrics, so it’s up to you to find meaning in the song this time!

九十九の世界 | tsukumo no sekai | Tsukumo World

It feels slightly clunky, but I think it turned out alright. More confidence with it than “bEAT GATHER” at least. The lyrics are pretty great and full of hype here, but “Maze” is still my favourite from the album I think.

Notes: SO apparently the kanji for the name Tsukumo is actually 九十九, while I had thought that it literally translated to mean Ninety-nine this whole time. Yup, that means this post had to go fixed right up a bunch.

Requested by my friend Stever, not the usual Touhou stuff, but a request is a request. I don’t really have too much to say here, except I realized there was already a translation of this before it was too late. I’d like to think that my version is better though, so hopefully my time wasn’t wasted.
