The idea of a captive princess growing sick of waiting and doing things for herself isn’t all that original at this point, but the way that KOKOMI writes the lyrics makes the story being told here captivating nonetheless. Being able to take something old and make it feel fresh is an amazing skill. I also intend to do 虹色セレナーデ eventually. It was my first Asriel song and what got me interested in them.
