Requested by Amilka, this is an old one. There are also some lines not written in the lyrics, most notably after the final stanza. They sound noticeably Japanese, but I can’t make anything out except for a few seemingly randomly placed words.
There’s also a subtitled video of the song already on youtube, but it feels like it was just thrown into google translate if you ask me (They also mixed up その and この and took 埋もれる to be a transitive verb). To bring my translation up an extra step and give myself more of a challenge, I decided to try matching the syllable count to the original Japanese, so you can sing along and stuff.

Another one of my favourites of the album, though I’m coming to love all of the songs a lot. The album didn’t impress me at first, but it really grew on me to the point of liking it perhaps as much as 屠. I love how much the meaning behind the lines “…because of what you are. For the solitude.” changes between Sukuna and Kijin, with no changes between the lines themselves. I highly doubt the perspective of the speaker is coming from either Sukuna or Kijin, so I aimed for an unnamed third perspective.
